LEADERSHIP COURSE IN SPORTS DIPLOMACY (LCSD)
As diplomacy evolves in the 21st century, Scholars and practitioners in international relations are reassessing how sports can address pressing issues like violent conflict, climate change, gender inequality, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
It’s important that we fully embrace sports and its participants as a potent instrument for uniting individuals, communities, and nations, instigating transformative change and elevate global living standards, with athletes acting as influential advocates for inclusion, youth empowerment, health, wellness, and conflict resolution.
Consequently The Nigeria Institute of International Affairs and the Peace Building development Consult is hosting a 3-day Leadership Course in Sports Diplomacy (LCSD) to create a platform for;
· Promoting international cooperation,
· Promote Peace and Conflict Resolution
· Cultural exchange, and positive social change
· Contributing to broader diplomatic objectives and societal development through sports.
