HUMAN SECURITY SUMMIT

The Human Security Summit is aimed at deepening the human security approach towards improving the lives and livelihoods of people faced with complex and multidimensional situations of human insecurity. It is aimed at developing frameworks and strategies in applying the human security approach in programmes and projects. The summit brings together academic institutions, ministries, departments and agencies of government, regional intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental and community-based organizations, as well as foundations to drive evidence based and innovative initiatives for advancing human security.
